As a disclaimer, I have to preface this recipe by telling you haven't yet tried them, but I have faith that they will be delicious!
What You'll Need:
2 lbs. Green Beans (Washed and trimmed)
2 cups of Water
2 cups of Vinegar
2 T. Sugar
Dill (We used fresh and dried)
5 t. Mustard Seeds
5 t. Red Pepper Flakes
5 Garlic Cloves
5 Bay Leaves
How To Make It:
You will need about 5 mason jars for this amount of Green Beans. To each jar, add 1 sprig of fresh dill, and a couple shakes of dried, 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds, 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes, 1 clove of garlic (halved), and 1 bay leaf. Then, basically cram as many of the green beans in as you can. Next, boil the water, vinegar, and sugar in a pot and pour it into the jars up to about 1/4 inch away from the top. Then cap and refrigerate them for 1 week and enjoy. :)
