This past week, my family and I went on a vacation to San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico in celebration of my sister and I graduating! We stayed in the Westin Grand Regina, and it was a beautiful resort. We had a 3 bedroom condo that overlooked the water, complete with a covered deck with a spa! We spent a lot of our time relaxing and enjoying tropical drinks at 1 of the two infinity pools featuring a swim up bar. The rest of our time was spent exploring Cabo San Lucas, and the art district of San Jose Del Cabo.
As is usually the case on vacation, we indulged in lots of delicious meals, so feast your eyes on my food gallery below, and see some of the photo highlights of the trip. If you want to know some tips/tricks to traveling Mexico from our experience, keep scrolling for some must sees and some attractions to skip.

- Rental Car: My suggestion would be to NOT get a rental car from the airport. If you are going to a resort, ask them beforehand if they offer a car rental service through them. Get a shuttle from the airport to the resort, and then get your rental car there. Apparently its customary for them to charge you crazy holds, and scam you so just do it safely at the resort.
- The Office: The office is a restaurant near downtown Cabo San Lucas and it's a MUST GO TO!! Its a funky little place on the beach, only a few feet from the water. All of the tables are out on the sand, and the food was delicious! We went for breakfast, but I've heard great things about lunch and dinner too. And don't worry, you won't be too hot, because its totally covered with umbrellas.
- The Arch/Lover's Beach: The arch, which you see pictures of here is absolutely beautiful and is right off the coast of "Lover's Beach", or "Land's End". The cool thing, is that you can take a $5 boat ride right from the office and get dropped off at the beach to snorkel and swim. It is one of the only swimmable beaches in Cabo.
- San Jose Del Cabo: If you are looking for something a little more upscale/artsy, you can visit the art district of San Jose Del Cabo. There are lots of cute shops to get souvenirs and restaurants to eat at. I bought some pretty glass blown wine glasses, and Mexican Leather sandals as a souvenir.
- Cabo San Lucas: If you aren't looking for bar-hopping, or high end shopping, you could probably skip Cabo San Lucas. We went and walked around all day, but there isn't too much to see other than lots of little, non-air-conditioned shops, and a couple bars. There is a big higher end mall there, so go there if that's what you're into. If you are looking for a bar, Cabo Wabo, and El Squid Roe look fun, but we passed on the night scene. We did manage to catch the end of an exciting World Cup game in the outdoor bar at Cabo Wabo, and grab a few cervezas!
